A super cosy sock designed for snuggling up on the sofa on a cold winter’s day.

It’s a toe-up design, worked in the round with a turned heel and thick, folded down cuff. Written for aran weight yarn, these socks will work up quickly, the perfect weekend project!

This is an INTERMEDIATE level pattern, written in UK & US terms.

There's a 30+ minute video to accompany this pattern - even if you're new to socks, you'll be able to follow this pattern!

Can be worked in 4 adult sizes with easy customisation to get the fit you need.

I’ve written this pattern to be as easy to follow as possible for someone who has never crocheted socks before.

You will need ...

Fiddlesticks Grange Ten (10ply yarn, 160m/100g, 40% wool, 40% acrylic, 20% alpaca) 

  • 1{2,2,2}x 100g ball of 10014 
  • 1x 100g ball of 10025 

5.5mm crochet hook

needle for sewing in ends

2 stitch markers or scraps of yarn to keep track of rounds

 

  • Shipping

    All orders are processed within 1 to 2  business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

    Please bear in mind there may be potential delays due to a high volume of orders or postal service problems that are outside of my control.

    Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

    Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Marta Mitchell Designs is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

  • Returns

    I hope you will be happy with your Marta Mitchell Designs product. However, if you're not completely satisfied I have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
    To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

    If your return is accepted, I’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

    Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right.
    Unfortunately, I cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

    Exchanges
    The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

    European Union 14 day cooling off period
    Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

    Refunds
    I will notify you once I’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
